Chairmanship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), for Ogori/Magongo Local Government area, Hon ABIODUN AIYEDUN has described the victory of Governor Yahaya Bello as an affirmation of the wish of Kogi people
The Frontline chairmanship aspirant Hon AIYEDUN who stated this in Lokoja, shortly after the five-man appeal Panel strucked out all the four appeals against the election of the Governor, said that the mandate freely given to Gov Bello by the overwhelming majority of the people of the state cannot be taking through the back door
He said the governor haven justified the mandate given to him by the people in his first tenure, was re-elected for a second term to continue to deliver the good dividends of democracy to the people.
While calling on the opposition parties to rally round the Governor in his determination to give accelerated development to the state, he cautioned that unnecessary litigations would cause distraction to the government.
“I am using this medium to call on all the opposition parties to see this particular victory as a wake up call to them to join hands with Gov Bello to fastracked development in the state.
“We are all aware that unnecessary litigations can cause distraction to the government. If their real intention was to serve the people, then, this is the time to demonstrate it.
