Hon Ariyo Adebayo thanks Governor Yahaya Bello for the opportunity to serve

Thank you Sir, Your Excellency for the privilege to serve under your administration

I want to sincerely express my deepest appreciations to God, the creator of heaven and earth, and His Excellency, Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for the rear privilege given to me to serve in the capacity of the Senior Special Assistant on Security in charge of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

Sir, though it is a short period but impactful in the political journey of my life which i will never take lightly. The opportunity has exposed me to another level of leadership which enabled me to contribute my quota to the overall development of the local government in the period under review.

Secondly, I wish to humbly express my sincere appreciation to the leadership of All Progressive Congress in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area ably led by Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly for their mounmental support and assistant before, during and after my appointment which came to an end few days ago, also to be noted includes, Senator Smart Adeyemi CON, Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Commander Jerry Omodara, State Security Adviser to the Governor, Hon. Wemi Jones, Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Jethro Funsho Oni, Hon. Nathernel Ojo Taiwo, Hon. Durosimi Meseko, Chief Julius Arokoyo, Barrister Ola Odano, Hon. Ade Olamife, Chief Samuel Meseko, —– etc, I will forever be grateful for your support.

It also worthy of note to appreciate the fatherly role played during the period, His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, the Olubunu of Bunu land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebayo Ikusemoro and all other traditional rulers in the local government for their support and cooperation to carryout my assignment successfully, it is my prayers that God will continue to give you more wisdom to administer your kingdom to greater heights.

I will also not lose sight of the words of encouragement from the Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Momoh Ozigi who through his leadership sagacity has tought me some fundamental administratives tactics that will continue to help me going forward, all management and staff of the ministry, I am very grateful.

To the security agencies in the Local Government, Police, Army, Civil Defence, and others for your cooperation and support during my short period in office, I am grateful.

To my able and ever ready results oriented Executive members of our great party, All Progressive Congress in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area ably led by Hon (Chief) Olorunmosunle Elisha, all ward Executive members and political leaders of our party at various levels, I remain grateful for the cordial working relationship during my stay at the SSA, Security in Kabba/Bunu.

To my ever reliable and proactive Media Team, I say thumbs up. My people back home in my community, Ayetoro-Kiri Bunu, I am grateful for your prayers and support always, I will continue to make you proud at any given opportunity.

It is on this note I want to use this medium to congratulate the newly appointed SSA on Security to His Excellency, my brother and friend, Hon Moses Olorunleke as well as my committed brother, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi on your appointment as the SSA to His Excellency on Political Matters for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.

I pray that God will give the needed wisdom, knowledge and understanding to pilot the affairs of your new office.

I wish to reiterate my loyalty, commitment and respect to the administration of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello now and always, it will remain unshaken as I will continue to give my maximum support to the new direction administration and our great party, All Progressive Congress at all times.

So long as there is breath in me, that long I will persist. I have learnt from the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, which says “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’ You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

Finally, I am glad to inform you sir, Your Excellency that I am available for any other assignments to service in whatever capacity your leadership so wishes as the New Direction Agenda is a ‘must achieved’.

To all my former colleagues, SSA, I will miss you, it is my farvent prayers that you shall be successful.
