Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor Congratulates New Acting Chief Judge, President Customary Court of Appeal
The lawmaker representing Igalamela/Odolu State Constituency, and Chairman of the state House of Assembly committee on Judiciary and Justice, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor has congratulated Justice H. A. Olusiyi and Justice Bayo Olowosegun over the “approval” of their appointments by the State Governor “to perform the functions” of the Kogi State Chief Judge and President of the Customary Court of Appeal respectively.
“On behalf of the House Committee on Judiciary and Justice, I congratulate Justice H. A. Olusiyi over his appointment to perform the functions of the Chief Judge for Kogi State.
“I equally congratulate Justice Bayo Olowosegun as he takes charge of the state Customary Court of Appeal,” stated.
He described both appointments as well deserved and expressed confidence in their abilities to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Kogi State judiciary and justice system.
He also commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for his “swift efforts towards filling up the vacuum created by the tragic demise of Justices Nasiru Ajana and Shaibu Atadoga.”
