The member representing Okene 1 State constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawi AT Ahmed, have expressed shock and disbelief over the death of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s Personal Assistant, Hon. Suleiman Abdullateef.

In a condolence message he personally signed, the lawmaker described the late Abdullateef as a thoroughbred who displayed courage in carrying out his duties, adding that he was at the forefront of explaining and defending the policies of Kogi State Government.

“I received with shock the news of the sudden passing on of your Personal Assistant, Hon. Suleiman Abdullateef, who died on Wednesday after a brief illness”

Hon. Lawi urged the governor and the Bello’s family to take solace in the fact that while Suleiman Abdullateef lived, he gave his best as it lasted and should be remembered for his contributions and service.

The death of Abdullateef has created a vacuum in Gov. Bello’s administration especially as all hands are required on deck to battle the corona virus pandemic and beyond.
