Hon. Oladokun greets Christian Brothers and Sisters as they commemorates yet another Christmas.
A humanist and Philanthropist from Yagba Land, Oladokun Jeremiah has felicitated with Christians and the Citizens in Yagba Federal Constituency , kogi state and the Country as a whole on the celebration of this year’s Christmas which is the birth of Jesus Christ -our Lord and savior.
Mr. Oladokun in message of felicitation to the people which was made available to media Organizations in Lokoja today, said God the creator of the Universe because of His love to salvage man kind from the shackle of sins and providing them with freedom gave to the World His only begotten son to pay for man’s sins.
Mr. Oladokun who is contesting for the house of Representatives sit for Yagba Federal Constituency come 2023 general elections, said Christ life time depict love, peace, steadfastness, meek-ness , humility and above all a gift to the World .
He stated that while on earth Jesus Christ healed the sick, resurrected the death, brought man to closer to their makers and reconciled them back to God and propangated peace and love to the World.
Mr. Oladokun admonished the adherence of Christ and the citizens to emulate His good deeds by promoting peaceful co-existence with other faiths and other ethnic nationalities as exemplified by Him .
He reminded the citizens that the Christmas shouldn’t only be seen as a period of merry making and extravagant festivity but a time for sober reflections of the nadir of human challenges facing us a Nation ranging from criminal activities of kidnappers, bandits, boko Haram, herdsmen feud with famers that have brought untold hardship on the citizens.
While wishing Christians brethren and the citizens a happy Christmas celebration which depict the birth of Jesus Christ which brought salvation to the World , Oladokun however cushioned against any activities which will result to the breaching of law and order.
