Hon. Oparison supervised the disbursement of Conditional CashTransfer to Ogori/Magongo beneficiaries.

A palliative measure powered by Federal Government Social Investment Programme(SIP) to cushion the effect of hardship which necessitated the disbursement of conditional cash transfer to the 34,456 poor and Vulnerable beneficiaries in Kogi State.

Ogori/Magongo local government is not left out as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters Ogori/Magongo Rt.Hon. Goke Oparison who was at the PayPoint today monitored the disbursement under a hitch free atmosphere.

Hon. Oparison expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the exercise and thanked the government for the brilliant initiative . He also appealed to those who didn’t benefit not to lose hope as there are subsequent opportunities underway.

The Chief Security Officer of Ogori/Magongo Rt. Hon. Goke Oparison implored the citizens to continue to imbibe the laid down rules by NCDC against the spread of COVID~19 pandemic specifically by maintaining social distancing and washing of hands regularly with soap.

The disbursement was based on different conditions where some beneficiaries received 20,000 each, pregnant women and others with health Challenges received 30,000 to 40,000 each.
