The vice chairman,House committee on youth, sport and social development,Hon.Otokiti Alhassan Zakariya called kogi Youths to reciprocate the gesture of governor Yahaya Adoza Bello by voting massively for Ododo,the candidate of the ruling party of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the November 11 governorship election
He made the call in lokoja while addressing kogi progressive youths (KPY) nothing that the immeasurable contributions of governor Yahaya Adoza Bello led new direction administration to the youth constituency in the state is worthwhile and worthy to be reciprocated by standing firm with him and support the candidate of the ruling party,Alh.usman Ahmed Ododo
Governor Yahaya Bello has done remarkably well whose administration has opened democratic, political and governance space for massive youth participation in the state
Kogi Youth has never had it so good not untill governor Yahaya Adoza Bello came on board as the governor; engaged them as a critical stakeholder and shareholder of the state vision through inclusivesness
Ever since the creation of the state,the youth has not been given the opportunity to serve, contributes and be a partner of the state progressive agenda
Governor Yahaya Bello new direction blueprint captured the youths as one of the tools for achieving the state vision, goals and objectives, reason they were given the opportunity to serve at various stratas of leadership positions via appointments and electives

Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello also break the record of becoming the first governor in Nigeria for heeding the yielning of the youths to established kogi State Youth Development Commission(KYCD) another great giant stride that gives the youth the sense of belonging in the scheme of things
