Chairman House Committee on water Resources, Bin Ebaiye Shehu Tijjani has said his committee will ensure proper reticulation of Ganaja Pump Station to solve the water problems in Lokoja metropolis.
The Lawmaker stated this shortly after taking the state ministry of water resources on its twenty twenty four budget defence at the assembly complex.
Mr Tijjani said proper reticulation had always been the bane of pipe bone water in the metropolis.
Mr Tijjani who is also the member representing Lokoja one state constituency at the assembly said when proper reticulation was done the indiscriminate drilling of boreholes would naturally end as people would have enough water to use.
He maintained that the committee would ensure thorough scrutiny of the ministry’s budget as well as carryout it’s oversight function.
