*The governorship candidate of ADC Elder Leke Abejide together with his* *deputy, Dr Idris omede yesterday, Friday 23rd of June, 2023, paid the OBARO OF* *KABBA, HRM. Oba Owoniyi and other obas from okun a visit in his palace.*
There, he reiterated his qualifications, competency, capacity, character and connection, which he* *argued are more than any other party’s candidate competing with him. To him, no other candidates has* *these qualities like he does. Thus, he has not and indeed will not step down for anybody.*
*Elder leke pointed out, that, the greatest mistake, Gov. Yahaya Bello made was not picking candidate* *from the western district of the state. But, adviced Gov. Yahaya Bello to make APC, governorship candidate, Ododo, to step down for him* .
*Elder Leke Abejide, Euphorically said, he together with Dr. Omede are experience and has the capacity* *to turn things around in kogi state, a state so blessed but has been bastardized as a* *result of inefficient* *governance.*
**He promised to put a stop instantly to percentage salary* *payment and grant the local government full autonomy.*
*On his part, Oba Owoniyi agreed that Elder Leke Abejide* *has the competency with capacity, and Elder Leke Abejide should make okun proud when he* *becomes the governor of kogi state.*
