The Director and Idah Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Musa Ali has assured Heads of Departments that the Council will make their welfare top priority. Mr. Musa Ali gave the assurance in a meeting with the HODs in his office at Idah, reminded them to join hands with him to move the local government forward. Idah DLG urged the HODs to always confide ln him on all official issues concerning their Departments and the local government. Mr. Musa Ali commended the State Governor His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for according health care top priority through provision of Covid. 19 preventive kits and continuous sensitization on the containment and avoidance of contact and spread of the dreaded COVID. 19 disease. He stressed his Administration readiness for open door policy and reminded the HODs to shun all forms of insinuations but to always seek clarification from him on government policies and programmes. Mr. Musa Ali who solicited Hods support and cooperation for unity of purpose, commended their steadfastness in discharging their official duties in this trying moment of Covid. 19 pandemic. He restated his earlier pledge that no HOD will be deprived or short changed of their entitlements as the revenue resources will determine what to do for them. The DLG who promised to hold meeting with HODs a regular interface on the issues bordering the Council to serve as a model in kogi state. The DLG stretched hands of fellowship by donating rice and money to NULGE Executive, Registry officers posted to various departments and HODs to cushioning the effect of Covid. 19. In their remarks, the HOD Education, Mall Obeito S. Hassan and Acting HOD Agriculture, Mrs Janet Ojochide Musa restated their unalloyed loyalty, support and cooperation to the government of Kogi state and the DLG to move Idah local government forward.The HODs thanked God and appreciated the DLG for adding another feather to his cap as he marked his birthday. The HODs commended the management of Access Bank Lokoja for identifying with and sharing in DLG’s joy by presenting birthday cake to rhe celebrant during celebration. They appealed for consideration in the scheme of things in the local government especially office imprest to enable them perform their duties optimally. The HODs resolved to work as a team with the DLG and praised him for the regular interface to address cropping issues in the local government..
