Who is Omotayo Ishaya Adeleye?
Omotayo is a Nigerian, a Christian, businesswoman, philanthropist and politician who is currently seeking to be elected to the Kogi State House of Assembly in this weekend’s general elections on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ijumu Constituency. She is the daughter of a former House of Assembly member from Ijumu. She has a very rich political profile, she was House of Representatives aspirant in2018 for Kabba-Bunu/Ijuumu Federal constituency and later appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women and Children Development and now APC candidate for Ijumu State House of Assembly in this Saturday election. She is a university graduate and hails from Ikoyi in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Hon. Omotayo popularly known as: “Efile fun obinrin” she is a woman with a humble beginning, a woman who you would like to meet personally, caring, a trusted friend, reliable and accommodating. Her patriotism for her fatherland, her unquenchable love for a disciplined life-style, her insatiable appetite for challenges, her spirit of perseverance and endurance and her tenacity of purpose, all combined to make her a good personality and representative of her people.

Reading between her lips, Hon. Omotayo has promised to promote unity in the constituency, eliminate poverty, wants and ignorance from the area, encourage the development of agriculture and commerce, promote active participation of the people in all strategic sectors, support as well as provide gainful employment for the youths from the constituency, work towards rural integration, this is aimed at enhancing improved rural life for everyone from the area, collaborate with the state and federal government in areas of health care delivery, water supply, electricity supply and to enhance an improved educational environment for our people.
