Influential Eziogu Traditional Ruler marks 11 Years on throne.
The Ohioviza Amari of Eziogu, HRH. Abdulkadir Abubakar Anataku, today in Okengwe asked the residents of the Okengwe to forgive one another and leave in peace together.
In an emotion-laden voice during a prayer session to mark his 11th years anniversary as traditional chief, the traditional ruler said it was rare, not only in Okengwe but the Ebira over, for a ruler to spend such years in power this days.
“I would like to start by thanking Allah. When I assumed the mantle of leadership of this great clan. Today, I am celebrating 11th anniversary on the throne. This is a rare privilege.
“For this, I want to plead to everyone for forgiveness for any wrong that anyone might have done to you,” the chief said
He has always kept his cards held close to his chest.
