As a way of contributing to the celebration of 2020 International Women’s Day, Hon. Saratu Asuku advocates for more opportunities and responsibilities for women.
She said this in a public statement on Friday, 6th of March, which marks the 2020 International Women’s Day, describing women as the shining polish of the world.
Her statement reads in part;
“As we celebrate women across the globe today, I am filled with joy and pride not just as a woman but a fulfilled mother.
“Every society will experience speedy growth and enduring development if and when women are truly loved and propositioned.
She congratulates all well-meaning individuals both in political leadership and entrepreneurship around the world and wishes all women a great International Women’s Day.
She added;
“We must remain committed to ideal with family building while creating enabling environment for our respective national security and citizens prosperity.
Campaigning for Gender Equality, she said it will further bless the world in all ramifications.
