Journalists charged on accurate reportage

Media practitioners in Kwara State have been urged to report the true position of things in line with the developmental strides of the present administration in order to correct the negative propaganda by those who do not wish the State well.
Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi gave the admonition in Ilorin on Friday while receiving the governing board of the Kwara State Television Authority who paid him a courtesy visit in continuation of their stakeholders meeting.
Mr.Alabi said the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq has taken giant strides in raising the bar of governance in Kwara State, adding that the footprints of the administration are noticeable in all sectors He commended the board, management and staff of Kwara TV for the transformation that is being witnessed in the station, stressing that with the pedigree of Board Chairman Alhaji Hameed Adio, his members and the General Manager Michael Olatunde, the station is poised to go places.
Responding, board Chairman, Alhaji Adio described Mr.Alabi as a tested, trusted, reliable and dependable Deputy Governor who has kept faith with the transformation agenda of his principal, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.
The Station’s General Manager, Mr.Michaels Olatunde, in his vote of thanks, commended the State government for being a pillar of support in the station’s drive for excellence, promising to transmit quality programmes that would reflect the core values of Kwara State.
