The Clerk of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Amoka Ibrahim gave the assurance when the Ebira Grand Alliance paid him a visit at the Assembly Complex in Lokoja.
Alhaji Amoka said that the leadership of the State with that of the Kogi State House of Assembly headed by Prince Matthew Kolawole were committed to ensuring that the people of the State enjoy the dividends of democracy and enjoined members of the Grand Alliance to keep faith with the Present Administration in its drive to bring about its lofty programs geared towards uplifting the lives of the ordinary citizens.
The Clerk noted that his appointment came as a surprise, giving the credit to Governor Yahaya Bello who believes in equity and fairness and emphasized the need for people to embrace hard work and diligence as it would help to position them for greater responsibility in future.
He promised to support the group through an empowerment scheme for their children and Women to become self reliant and thanked them for finding him worthy of the award of grand patron of the association bestowed on him.
Earlier, the President of the Lokoja Branch of Ebira Grand Alliance, Mallam Abdulrahim Saliu in company of his Members said they were in the Clerk’s Office to congratulate him on his appointment as Clerk of the Assembly.
Mallam Saliu appealed to the Clerk and other sons and daughters of Ebira land in the current administration to give all it takes in ensuring success of Governor Yahaya Bello’s second term in office.
He urged the Clerk and other Political appointees from the Central Senatorial District to use their vantage positions to attract job opportunities for their teaming Youths seeking a job placement for their economic wellbeing.
According to him, the Grand Patron Award was conferred on the Clerk based on his track record of selfless service to humanity and enjoined him to sustain the spirit.
Prayers were thereafter offered for the success of the present Administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello and his team.
