Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of Barrister Abdulmalik Makun Umar as member State Independent Electoral Commission representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.
Barrister Abdulmalik Makun Umar replaces Ali Lawal Jiya who failed to appear before the House for screening last week.
After answering questions from members, the Nominee was asked to take a bow and go.
Speaking with Newsmen, Barrister Abdulmalik Maku Umar promised to carryout his duty with sincerity and fairness.
