Kogi Gov Attends Novelty Match for Late Nicholas Ofodile
His Excellency the Govenor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello was today represented by his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja at the Novelty Match held for the late Nicholas Ofodile, popularly known as “Chuks” who owns Ultra Modern Supermarket and other businesses in Kogi state, who was allegedly killed by bandits on the Lokoja/Abuja express on the 10th of June, this year.
Speaking on behalf of the Governor, the Deputy Governor says; the death of Chuks was orchestrated by the machinations of men but God allowed it. Stating that it was a shock to Kogi State, the Igbo nation and the entire nation. We appreciate how your (Igbo Community) calmness did not result to what the enemies had planned. But we pray that God will bring justice to everyone involved in that satanic act. To his family, only God can console you. To the Igbo Community, we pray that this kind of unfortunate event would not befall any of you again in Jesus name.
Lokoja is the center of Nigeria, your presence is of value addition. His Excellency, the Governor has said that before and will continue to do everything to ensure your business thrives in Kogi state.
I am a product of North Central Nigeria. You are from South Eastern part of Nigeria. Do not underrate what a united Igbo can do in Nigeria because I believe you are all in the nook and crannies of Nigeria.
God will honor the disadvantaged in Nigeria.
