The incumbent Vice Chairman of Ogori /Magongo Local Government area Hon Kate Obapitan has congratulated the Kogi State Governor-elect – His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy Hon Joel Oyibo on their success at the just concluded Gubernatorial election.
The congratulatory message was release by the Vice Chairman and made available to journalists on Monday in Lokoja.
Hon Kate Obapitan described the victory of the APC Candidate, Ododo and his deputy as an attestation of the yearnings of the people of Kogi State.
She praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his doggedness and for ensuring a free, fair and credible elections in the state,
According to the Vice Chairman “There’s no doubt that the incoming Governor has all what it takes to move the state to the next level.
“She expressed optimism that the incoming administration will consolidate on the welfare development of the people of the state.
The Vice Chairman also used the opportunity to pray for the outgoing governor – His Excellency Alhaji Adoza Yahaya Bello for his developmental strides in the last few years.
Hon Obapitan further commended the governor for conducting the most peaceful Gubernatorial election so far in the history of the state.
