The Kabba/Bunu Local government area branch of the Nigeria Union of Teachers [NUT] has dismissed the rumour that it has shifting support to the Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic party-Alh. Muri Ajaka.
A Statement personally endorsed by the branch chairman of the Union, Comrade Alegbemi Michael which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja, explained that following series of false statement circulating around that he declare support for the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic party made him to come out to put the record straight.
According to Comrade Alegbemi Michael with Ododo/Joel Oyibo of the All Progressives Congress candidate’s acceptability across the nooks and crannies of the state ,he has no single reason to back out in mobilising for them as they stand the best chance to win the election
“We can’t at this juncture jeordizing the ever growing support we have garnered across from our members , the good will of the ordinary voters who are ready to vote Ododo/Joel because their convinced about the plan they have for teachers and local government personnel” Alegbemi informed.
For the umpteenth time,we teachers in Kabba/bunu local government area have never and will never back out from giving our one hundred percent support to Ododo/Joel mandate.
‘We call on our members and the general public of kogi State to ignore the rumour .Our plane has taken off already ,it cannot be halted mid flight”.
