The chairman House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Yusuf Zakari Eneve has said that his committee will help address issues raised by the ministry for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs to make it perform better.
The Lawmaker stated this when the ministry appeared before his committee to defend it’s twenty twenty four budget estimate.
He said the committee was not out to witch-hunt any one but to partner with the ministry in turning around it’s fortunes for the better.
Eneve said that the committee would ensure it performs it’s oversight function for the sole purpose of giving value for public funds.
