
KOGI NEWMAP TRAINS COMMUNITIES ON CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Nigerian Erosion and Watershed management project, Kogi state office has trained communities living in the six(6) priority sites of intervention on the various aspects of catchment management and how it affects the lives of our communities.
Speaking at an inception meeting at the Project’s headquarters, the project coordinator of Kogi Newmap, Barr ladi Ahmed Jatto while urging the consulting team to ensure that the assignment delivered with a deep sense of commitment and according to specified timeline said Newmap was all about enhancing the Livelihood of our communities and the catchment management plan was yet another Avenue to ensure that Newmap leaves every community of intervention better than it met it.

Mr Dachan Titus. promised to deliver on the assignment ‘s objectives.
Aspects of the training include ,Waste management, Newmap Environment and social guidelines on covid 19 among others.
The communities of Ozuri,Etahi,Kabba,Ugwolawo ,Ankpa and Ogane -Aji..are expected to be trained at the end of the exercise
