Kogi Security Chiefs Celebrate Commander Jerry Omodara

Heads of Security in Kogi State on Saturday celebrated the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (Retired) on his birthday.

The event was attended by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ayuba Epekji Ede and Commander of Lugard base of the Nigerian Navy.

Others of members of Kogi State Executive Council including, the Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones and that of Rural Development as well as family and friends.

It was a celebration moment for the State Security Adviser who has contributed immensely to the security of lives and property in Kogi and served the Nigerian Navy meritoriously.

Several Speakers who spoke at the event expressed gratitude to God for sparing the life of Commander Omodara and prayed God to grant him wisdom and long life.

They extolled the leadership qualities of the State Security Adviser, describing him as a humble, friendly and hard working man.

Responding, the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (Retired) thanked those who attended the programme for celebrating with him and prayed God to reward them.

Commander Omodara noted that he was overwhelmed by the show of love of the people, promising his continued commitment to the effective discharge of his duty for the improved security of lives and property.

He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy of his appointment, assuring that he will not let him down.
