Kogi Speaker mourns Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello, commiserate with Governor Yahaya Bello
Rt Hon Prince Matthew Kolawole, Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly has received with sadness the news of the shocking and sudden demise of Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello, mother of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State after a brief illness.
He described her death at this time as a great loss not only to the Bello family but the entire state as her words of wisdom and support will be greatly missed.
He said Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello was a virtuous woman whose through her commitment and hardworks was able to nutured and bring up a son like His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, whose contributions has reshaped the political landscape of the state.
He charged her entire family members to uphold the legacy of her hardworks, tolerance and perseverance as the vacuum created by her demise with be hard to fill.
On behalf of the entire members of the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly wish to commiserate with the family of Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello over her death which occurred this evening at the age of 101.
He prayed that God will grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
