Kogi Speaker registers 172 candidates for Jamb Exam
Member representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency and Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. (Prince) M.O Kolawole has paid for the registration of 172 candidates for Jamb Exam that is scheduled to hold soon.
The Speaker said since it has become evidence that government can no longer do it alone and also in line with his campaigning promises to make education as one of his priorities, he has decided to bankroll the payment of jamb registration for students who are willing and ready to pursue his or her academic career in higher institutions.
He said the list of the beneficiaries is devoid of party sentiment, hence he decided to route it through the student’s union of Kabba and Bunu districts to forwards at least 10 students per wards in the 15 wards of the constituency, while Ebira, Igbo, other communities and person living with disability (PLD) were also considered.
