The Caretaker Chairman of Yagba West Local Government and State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Tosin Olokun has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo for the launch of the Metropolitan Quick Response Squad to tame the surge of insecurity in the State.
The ALGON Chairman in the statement personally signed and released to the press in Lokoja described the initiative as a proactive and preventive mechanism towards securing lives and property of the residents and citizens of Kogi State.
The Chairman described His Excellency, Gov. Ododo as a leader who prioritized citizens safety above any other consideration in his belief that it is only in a safe and secured environment that citizens can make meaningful contributions to the social and economic progress of the state.
The ALGON Chairman also praised the gallantry and dedication of all security agencies in the state for their sacrifices and dedication to keeping the state safe.
He urged Kogites to be more involved by being proactive, vigilant and to report any suspicious credible and timely information to security agencies in the state, describing security as the business of all.
