
Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Asiwaju Idris Ashiru stated this in an interview in Lokoja.
Asiwaju Ashiru explained that the eighty percent payment was due to the short fall in allocation from the Federal Government as a result of a fall in the prices of crude oil.
According to him the development in the past five months was in cognisance of the Organised Labour in the State to sustain industrial harmony.
Ashiru who said the State Government had been prudent in the management of available resources added that govt would embark on projects in the health sector towards the well being of citizens.
The Commissioner reiterated the commitment of the Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration to the welfare of Civil Servants and overall development of the State.
