An aged Group, Better Kogi in Practice (BKP) has described the Provost of Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, Comr Dr Nuhu Anyegwu as a man of the people.
According to the group, the radical transformation, disciplined attitude and the awe-inspiring efforts of the Provost have had a far-reaching positive impact on the institution and would for forever remain indelible in the hearts of the people(Staff and Students).
Dr Onuche stated this as the group paid a thank-you visit to the Provost for his outstanding achievements since his appointment as the provost of the college.
The group who thronged the office of the Provost in large number sang in his praises in their local dialect just as they showered token of appreciation for his outstanding performance as head of the 45 year-old College.
Leader of the group, Dr onuche, who spoke at the occasion, explained that the good deeds of the provost informed the kind gestures of the group.
Adeyanju said: “the member of the group have viewed the untiring efforts of our provost since he arrived and assumed office as the Head of the Institution. He has been achieving one milestone after another.
“Given these and others we concluded that this man deserved the support and appreciation of not only the host community but the entire people of Igala Kingdom and Kogi at large
.
He added, “Provost, your radical transformation of the College, discipline attitude and overwhelming efforts at bringing the institution to world standard will forever remain indelible in the heart of the people.
“You have done well and all we can say is thank you. We appreciate you and will continue to stand by you in your efforts at taking the institution to a higher level,” Dr Onuche said with enthusiasm.
Earlier, their host Provost expressed appreciation to the group for their show of love and appreciation for his leadership style.
The Provost recalled that about this same period last year the group also came visiting with a letter of Commendation and gifts yet to be exhausted, saying that the action of the group had inspired him to work harder.
he said, I am humbled by your show of love to me. I continue to imagine what I have done to deserve all these. Your actions are a tremendous booster for me to work harder to achieve the best for this College
The provost added, “I am inspired. To whom much is given, much is expected. I promised never to disappoint you. Thank you.
