Kogi state Commissioner for Environment, victor Omofaiye says his ministry will focus on mitigating climate change effect next year.
The Commissioner stated this while defending his ministry’s twenty twenty four budget before the house committee on Lands and Environment at the assembly complex.
He said the ministry would also Improve on its campaign on climate change as well as Improve on waste management system.
He said waste bins would be provided to home next year and approved waste collection vendors would go round to collect the waste at subsidized rates.
