The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Samuel Oluwafemi Ajunuhi says the Commission will be enlarging the frontiers of pilgrimage in the upcoming year to accommodate other holy sites in view the Gaza war.
He stated this when his commission appeared before the Kogi state House of Assembly standing committee on government house to defend it’s twenty twenty four budget estimate at the assembly complex in Lokoja.
The Executive Chairman said owing to the Israel – Hamas war in Gaza, the commission was looking at taking pilgrims to Greece and Rome instead of the traditional Israel and Jordan alone.
Mr Ajunuhi said that the new holy sites especially in Greece, would cover the new testament churches.
He appreciated the Kogi state House of Assembly for their commitment and determination to ensure a better Kogi state.
