A Kogi based Non Governmental Organization, Ladi Memorial Foundation (LMF), has commiserated with the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, over the death of his mother, Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello.
Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello died on Sunday evening during a brief illness at the age of 101 years.
Hon. Rosemary Osikoya, the Executive Director of LMF and a former Kogi Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, in statement in Lokoja on Monday, described Mama’s death as a celebration of life full of great positive impacts.
”On behalf of myself, my family and the entire management and staff of Ladi Memorial Foundation, we sympathise with Your Excellency and the entire Pa Bello Ipemida Ochi family about the demise of your dearest mother.
”It is a celebration of life, and we thank God for longevity. Mama lives on through the lives of her children. I know that she is in a better place right now, but she will be greatly missed here.
”God’s comfort to Your Excellency, the family and the entire Kogi State at large. My deepest condolences,” Osikoya said.
The former Commissioner prayed God to grant the governor and entire family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
