Leke Abejide Foundation, Paid Waec Fees For Public School Students Across Kabba Bunu and Ijumu.

A non-profit organization, Leke Abejide Foundation have paid the West African Examination Council WAEC fees for all students across Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal constituency with all administrative charges inclusive.

The Director General of the foundation stated that the core values of Leke Abejide Foundation are centred on education and life-changing programmes most significantly to achieve social progress for all, especially the less privileged.

“Leke Abejide foundation focuses on Education in Yagba and has extended same to Kabba Bunu Ijumu as the 1st waec payment for all the students in Public school was paid for the first time in Kabba”.

The payment was for 2050 beneficiaries across 39 public schools in Kabba Bunu Ijumu federal constituency including administrative charges.

While speaking on the impact of the Waec fees payment, Hon. Leke Abejide, member House of Representatives and the founder of the foundation said, “The Waec payment initiative is to lessen the burden on the parents and to also eradicate the incessant cases of secondary school dropouts.

“We also recognise that education is an integral part of the most significant tool for social progress and development”.

A student from Kabba appreciated Hon. Leke Abejide for lending helping hands to parents during this time.

One of the parents of the beneficiaries appreciated and also prayed for Hon. Leke Abejide for saving them from going for all forms of interest loans just to pay for their children.

Hon. Leke Abejide presented the Cheques to all school principals while urging the parents to make the right choice in the coming election by voting for the ADC candidates in Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal constituency for, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly.
