LG polls:OKOVI Clean Endorse Okene Administrator For Chairmanship Seat

The Chairmanship ambition of Okene Local Government Administrator, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad received another boast on Monday 3rd February, 2020 as the leadership of the seven clans of Okovi descendants paid the Local Government Administrator a courtesy visit and commended his style of leadership saying the Council boss has perform excellently well and deserve to be elected back to office as Executive Chairman.

In a letter of endorsement presented to the Council Administrator by the National Chairmen of the seven clans of Okovi descendants, the forum maintained that, their desires to throw support towards the Chairmanship ambition of Hon. Abdulrazaq were born out of his efforts to transform the Council to a more habitable environment for the citizenry.

He has consistently pilot the affairs of the Council and maintain security of lives and property, making Okene one of the savest town in Kogi State.

In his address, the leader of the forum and Chairman of Asuwe clan, Mall. Yahaya Amaja assured the Council Administrator that the entire Okovi sons and daughters have resolved to rally round him and ensure his ambition becomes a reality.

According to him, the good records of Hon. Abdulrazaq speaks volume, he is a result oriented politician, humble and intelligent, hence, we have come to identify with the man of the moment, he concluded.

The statement reads thus; “sequel to your good administration, we, the entire Okovi clans hereby endorse your candidature as the next elected Chairman of Okene Local Government in the forth coming Council election”.

Responding, the elated Council Administrator thanked the leadership of the revered Okovi forum and assure them that his government will not rest on it oars but will do more if elected as the Executive Chairman of the Council. He promised to run an open door administration where every one will be given equal opportunity in government.
