NGO URGE F.G TO URGENTLY ADDRESS END SARS PROTEST
A Non-Governmental Organisations, Patriots For Growth And Development Initiative, PGDI, has called on The Federal Government to quickly arrest the violent dimension The End SARS protest is taking across the country so as not to plunge the nation into anarchy.
Executive Director, PGDI, Isaac Nasim Salami stated this at a news conference in lokoja the kogi state capital.
He said the continued escalating acts disruptions, attacks and killings in recent days was a carefully planned effort and handiwork of fifth columnist and enemies of Nigeria geared towards subverting the relative peace and unity in the country.
According to him government is attending to the five demands of the protesters as such the youths should leave the streets and give the federal government the benefit of doubt to fully implement the police reform.
Mr Salami urged well meaning Nigerians to speak to the protesting youths to sheath their sword as they have won the battle.
