NIS promised to partner with Nasarawa State Government to enhance its efficiency in service delivery

Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS has promised to partner the Nasarawa State Government to enhance its efficiency in service delivery to the advantage of all.

Comptroller General of the Service, Muhammad Babadede made the promise when he received the state Deputy Governor Emmanuel Akabe in Abuja.

He said such collaborations between the Service and Nasarawa State would guarantee effective implementation of its constitutional mandate for optimal results.

The Comptroller General of Immigration Service affirmed that he has made some reforms in their border control strategies that could also be of benefit to States as well.

Mr Babadede who expressed commitment of the service to sustaining harmonious relationship with States noted that they would soon be in Lafia to inaugurate its newly constructed headquarters.

State Deputy Governor Emmanuel Akabe said the visit was part of the state government’s policies to strengthen its bond with Federal Government’s establishments in the state to engender good governance.
