The National Women Leader of APC Ododo Connect, Hajia Marian Ohinanyi has charged Ebiras both at home and in diaspora to be united and work for the victory of Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman as the governor of Kogi state in November 11, 2023 governorship election.
Hajia Marian Ohinanyi gave the charge while addressing members APC Ododo Connect Group and supporters of the party at a rally organized by the group to enlighten and canvass support for Alh. Ododo Usman candidature ahead of the forthcoming election at open field Lafia-Okene. She appealed to the members of the group from the five local government areas of Kogi central and beyond to be upright and work assiduously towards the success of the party. The national women leaders advised the members of the group to be examplary and transparent in the task ahead to make the victory of Alh. Ododo Usman attainable at the polls. In his address, the National Chairman of Ododo Connect, Mall. Abdulwahab Karim (aka Big Daddy) from Lagos appreciated the members for the turn out and urged the leaders of the group to maintain and sustain harmonious relationship to advance the course of Alh Ododo Usman as the next governor of Kogi state. He maintained that Alh Ododo Usman will consolidate the achievements of governor Yahaya Adoza Bello if he is voted office in November election. He appealed to Ebiras to forget their differences and work for Ebira to be work where will be bride. In a remark, the Special Adviser to the governor on Agriculture, Hon. Abdulmumuni Okara called on Ebiras to wake up and the train of sustain as Alh. Ododo Usman governorship ambition has received tremendous support from Igalas and Okuns. He appealed to the members of Ododo Connect Group to go to the wards and mobilize people with the needs to vote for Alh Ododo Usman in the governorship election. Hon. Okara commended Hajia Marian Ohinanyi for her leadership qualities of focus, embodiment of peace and steadfastness to organize the group to mobilize support for APC governorship candidate. Addressing the rally, the President of Akuta Women Association (Kogi Central) Mrs. Victoria Mayaki JP commended the organizers of the occasion and urged Ebiras to wake up, united and work for the victory of Alh Ododo Usman. She led hundreds of decampes from opposition parties from Okaito, Obangede and Ihima into the fold of APC where they pledged their loyalty to the party’s activities. In the closing remark, Apostle Joseph Bajeh applauded Ododo Connect Group for their love for the candidate of the party and appealed to them to demonstrate same during the election by voting enmass for Alh.
