Ogori-Magongo Community loses Former Acting Council Chairman
Magongo community in Ogori-Magongo local government area of Kogi state has lost one of its illustrious sons and former acting chairman of the council Hon. Gbenga Amos Alabi is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State
Alabi who was also former councillor Representing Obinoye Ward , former supervisor councillor and Vice Chairman in the local government died on Friday in Magongo after a brief illness.
Until his demise Gbega Amos Alabi was a selfless, detribalised and humane leader who had used his position to pave ways for the unity and progress of the local government council.
His painful exit will no doubt create a huge vacuum in the community that will be difficult to fill, but submit to the ultimate will of God, as death is inevitable and the way of all mortal.
May God Almighty grant his soul an eternal rest and grant the immediate family, friends and the entire Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area the fortitude to bear the lost.
