Okene LG teachers commend Senator Oseni
The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Yakubu Oseni has been described as a quintessential leader whose stock in political trade is to stealthily develop people for self-reliance.
This commendation was given recently by the Chairman, Okene Local Government Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Ezzu Hadeed while commending the lawmaker for unprecedented recognition accorded the union during his empowerment programme.
The union of Okene Local Government teachers recently received a set of computers from Senator Oseni in his continuous empowerment programme which he geared towards supporting learning and teaching of computers across schools in Kogi Central.
Comrade Hadeed who noted that the gesture would remain indelible in the minds of the teachers, declared the readiness of the union to support the lawmaker in all his people-centred programme in the Senatorial District.
“This kind gesture will remain indelible in the minds of the Okene teachers having recognised us to be a beneficiary of your loudable project.
”My humble Senator, Okene teachers remain steadfast and supportive to your laudable programmes. May Almighty Allah be with you in all your human endeavor,” he prayed.
It would be recalled that Senator Oseni recently facilitated the training of 150 artisans across the five local government areas of his constituency on digital economy. The high point of the 10-day capacity building programme was empowerment of the beneficiaries with start-up kits and capital.
