The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole today paid a condolence visit to Governor Yahaya Bello over the demised of his sister, Hajiya Rabiatu Bello,who passed away on December 23/2019 after a brief illness.
Comrade Oshiomole who met with Gov Bello at the Government House, Lokoja was accompanied by some of his aides, informed the Gov. he was in the state to sympathise with the governor over the death of his sister,Hajiya Rabiat Bello
He prayed Allah to grant the soul of Rabiat aljanat Firdausi and give the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lose
Oshiomhole who was received by the Governor and his deputy, Edward Onoja, expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the people and government of Kogi State over the recent attacks on Tawari community by unknown gunmen in which over 200 lives and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
He described the incident as unfortunate and urged the security agencies to ensure that is those behind the dastardly acts were brought to justice.
Oshiomhole sent his condolence to the family of those that lost their loved ones during the attack.
Responding, Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the national chairman for the visit and identifying with him and government of Kogi at their moments of griefs
