The Elder Council of Oziogu clan on Thursday 19th March 2020, paid a courtesy visit to the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Security Matters in charge of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad at the Council Secretariat in Okene. The elders were in the office to congratulates him on his new appointment and reassure him of their continue support ad cooperation.
The Chairman of the elders forum, Alh. Ahmed Usman in his address, expressed the clan’s appreciation and gratitude to Gov. Yahaya Bello for the kind gesture. They reiterated the clan’s commitment to give maximum support to the Council Chief Security Officer, Hon. Abdulrazaq Muhammad in his quest to maintain peace in the Local Government.
They subsequently endorsed him for Okene Local Government Chairmanship seat in the forthcoming Local Government election.
It is our believe that elders, youths and women of Oziogu clan within and outside the Local Government Council haven’t pledged their total supports to the new direction government will continue to sustain the pledge and ensure the government succeed in all fronts, they concluded.
In his response, Hon. Abdulrazaq thanked his kingsmen for the support, encouragement and advice received during his tenure as the Local Government Administrator and will rely on same to succeed in the new but familiar responsibility as the Chief Security Officer of the Council.
