Following the constitution of Kogi State Covid 19 Squadron put in place by the State Government to coordinate government’s effort against the virus, the Chief Whip to Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muktar Salihu Bajeh representing Okehi Constituency has commended Gov. Yahaya Bello over the inauguration of the 29-man committee led by the Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Edward Onoja.
Describing the Squadron as the best inauguration in this sand of time, Hon. Muktar has called on all residents of Kogi State with specific reference to Okehi Local Government Area to be law abiding citizens as always thus urging their maximum cooperation with the enforcement agencies.
While equally commending the immediate act to work by the Council’s SSA to Kogi State Governor on Security Matters, Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare, the Chief Whip disclosed his office shall not rest in seeing to all round cooperation with government directives by his constituents.
Conclusively, he emphasised on the principles of prevention is better than cure. “This moment is a test of time and Almighty Allah will surely salvage us from this horrible disease not bargained for.”
