PROMISE MADE
PROMISE KEPT
Hon. Prince Collins A.H. Musa(FIMC) has presented a motorcycle to an Omala physically challenged person, Mr. John Yakubu in fulfilment of the promise made during his electioneering tour of Omala.
Presenting the motorcycle at his residence in the Legislative quatres in Lokoja, Hon. Prince Collins Musa (FIMC) recalled how he, with his team (Ukomu Omala) visited almost all the communities in Omala campaigning and familiarising himself with the needs of the people he was going to represent, and how he met John Yakubu in Oti II in the process. Hon. Prince Collins said,
“Throughout my tour, I didn’t make any promises until I saw him. He wasn’t the only disabled person I met He approached me with the request to assist him with a motorcycle to ease his mobility and I made the promise. By the grace of God, today, I have fufilled that promise”.
In his remark, Mr Solomon Yahaya, the Joint Chairman, Persons With Disability in Kogi said Hon. Prince Collins Musa was a leader with human touch. He further described the gesture as a proof of love and prayed that Almighty God who sees what is done in secrete would reward Hon. Prince Collins Musa. He then advised the beneficiary to take care of the precious gift and called on other office holders to help the physically challenged according to their own capacities.
Mr John Yakubu, obviously short of words, expressed gratitude to Hon. Prince Collins Musa and prayed God to make his tenure in office successful.
In a similar vein, Hon. Prince Collins A.H. Musa (FIMC) gave financial support to some persons for educational and business purposes and also provided funds to set up a mechanic workshop for a constituent.
