The Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Confluencelink Publications, Hon. Toba Abraham has celebrated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the establishment of Kogi State University Kabba, Kabba, Kogi State

The Publisher praised Alhaji Yahaya Bello for making another landmark history with the establishment of Kogi State University in Kabba, Kogi West Senatorial District, Saying establishment of University in Okunland was long overdue.

Toba Abraham described the approval and signing into law of the bill establishing the University as very significant which according to him further confirms Alhaji Yahaya Bello as a true Patriot and an apostle of fairness and equity.

In his statement, the Media Practitioner said that, the singular act of considering the people of Okun Nation for a State-owned University revealed the legendary in Yahaya Bello as demonstrated in most of his actions and policies.

He described seven years of Bello’s administration as breaking the jinx of marginalization and ethnic suspicion in Kogi State as every parts of the State is fairly treated with several attempts at balancing the distribution of developmental projects which is a departure from what the past experience was

He also expressed his delight over the announcement by the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission(NUC) Prof. Abubakar Abdulrasheed of the approval and issuance of Provisional licence to Kogi State University Kabba.

The announcement which was made as the last approval that would be granted and approved by Prof. AbdulRasheed as the Executive Secretary of the commission was said to be a parting gift, as he announced his resignation from the commission on Monday.

Toba Abraham congratulated the entire Okun Nation for the birth of this great institution, encouraged all to embrace the University with passion and much enthusiasm.

“It is very important that I thank the ‘White Lion’, the Legend of the Niger and Pride of the masses for breaking the fallow ground and restoring the of hope of Kogites for a greater Kogi State.
