RE-Inequitable Political Zoning Arrangement In Igala-Mela/ Odolu.
I have read the submission of the faceless write up to Kogi state Governor,Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello,that turns to naked insults against percieved top rival, who had a better chances of returning to the leadership of the Local Government,compare to the petitioners and his collaborators.
Fortunately or Unfortunately,the percieved writter of this petition intially with some level of objective analysis, digress into confronting another contestant to the chairmanship slot,who already is a leading aspirant to the position and people’s choice.
I don’t know why the writter again choose to denigrate the office of Executive Governor of Kogi state,Alhaji Yahaya Bello,by regning insults on a co-contestant on a intra party affairs,a glaring insurbodination both to the Party,the leader of the Party and revered office of the SSA to the governor,this is tantamount to ignorance and political immaturity on their part as connivers.
The writter after making some analysis,shut himself on the leg by not mentioning the political exigencies of the present developement in Igalamela/Odolu local government.
It will also be politically inexpedient,not to put the record straight,so that readers,critics, stakeholders and like minds will go down memory lane,to know the nittygritty of the self acclaimed aspirant for the next Chairmanship of igalamela/Odolu local government.
It will be on record that under the former adminstrator, Honourable Patrick Danjuma Onogu, that All Progressives Congress APC, under the leadership of state governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello won all elections in Igalamela /Odolu local government area.
This unbroken record and unique perfomance of APC in the area was under the supervision of former administrator, both in February general elections and even in November Kogi Governorship election.
It is also on record that the opposition PDP had hold sway for many years at both elective and appointive positions,untill his ascension,as those seeking for elective positions for many years realized their political ambition, during Patrick Onogu’s Administratorship.
This politcal developement alone has attracted alot of infrastructural favour from the ruling APC led adminstration in the state,a departure from what was obtainable before now.
He maintained a stable and generally acceptable style of adminstration and political orientation,so much so that while some adminstrators were running from pillar to pole on how to deliver the incumbent governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello for a second term in office,it was a mere ceremony in Igalamela/ Odolu, as APC won convincingly to return the governor.
This alone is enough to convince both the electorates at the local government and state level, that his stint was not merely based on appointement,but a grassroot politician endeared to his people.
This is unlike some of the leaders who could not deliver either their units or wards,yet occupying a strategic positions in the state.
For the purpose of clarity,and without any iota of doubt,it will be germane to display results of the last Governorship election in Kogi state from Igalamela/ Odolu local government, for further confirmation.
This alone is capable of detonating the miscarriage of information been bandied by opposition elements within the APC and those misrepresenting the fact of the matter.

From the results graph presented from Igalamela/ Odolu local government showed that APC led with over 3,000 votes as against PDP the main opposition party.
This records is enough to show those that perpetual loosers ,but collective efforts led by Hon Patrick Danjuma Onogu,the APC won.
The tabulated records is what some political gate crashers are relying on to perpetuate or choose to lead the local government.
Honourable Patrick Danjuma Onogu had displayed unrivalled political wisdom to deliver Governor Yahaya Bello in the last election, and still support his leadership acumen in all ramifications.
No amount of castigation,outcry,damage to the image of the most acceptable political leader of the local government, will deter his good intentions for his people.
Politics is for the people and about the people and not laying claims to unsubstantiated achievements.
