In recognition of her numerous services to humanity, the Rotary Club Lokoja has honoured the Secretary to Kogi State Government (SSG), 
Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade PhD with the Honourary Membership of the prestigious humanitarian organization.
The President of the Club, Rotarian Ojo Iyabode who announced this during a visit to the SSG in her office, said the honour was in recognition of her selfless contributions to the betterment of the down trodden particularly, orphans and widows in the State.
The President of the Club recalled that the SSG recently visited Orphanages in Lokoja and empowered many widows at a colourful event held at her residence in Lokoja. She also disclosed that Mrs. Ayoade alongside dignitaries including clerics performed the ground breaking ceremony of her Orphanage under her NGO, Folashade Ayoade Initiative For Widows and Orphans. The club availed herself of the opportunity to congratulate the SSG on her well deserved reappointment by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and prayed God continual wisdom for her in the course of carrying out her huge responsibilities.
