SALLAH:Ecstatic Excitements & Commendations Galore In Dekina As Yakubu Okala, Kogi Auditor General Donates Food Stuff & Cash To Muslim faithful.
To assuage the pangs of hardship being face by the rural dwellers and inspire them to observe this year’s Eid El-Fitri Festival after the successesfull conclusion of the weeks-long Ramadan Fast unhindered,Kogi State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Okala has distributed Food items/ cash Worth Millions of naira to Muslim faithful and All Progressives Congress Supporters for the celebration of Sallah.
YY Okala who performed the presentation of the Food Stuff at his ancestral country home , Ajiolo Ajikpome in Dekina local government area,said the gesture is geared towards cushioning the suffering of the people and make them to celebrate this year’s Eid El-Fitri festival.
He disclosed that he has never hesitated to extend succour to the citizens especially the less fortunate people and party faithful to show he is not unaware that their part and parcel of the government .
His words:my decision to provide food items and cash donations to the less privileged members of the communies, Party supporters as well as adherents of both Muslim and christian faithfuls is to augument the efforts of his Excellency and principal Kogi state executive Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello”s efforts to minimise the suffering , poverty and hardship face by our people,Okala said’.
The Chairman of Dekina local Council of Ulama,Sheikh Mohammed Abubakir and Alhaji Suleiman Dansoho , the Chief Imam of Abocho expressed their gratitude to Alhaji Yakubu Okala for always stand firm in providing charity to the people especially during festive season.
The clerics commended state executive Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for appointing one of their illustrous son of YY Okala to serve as the State Auditor General asserting that he is a worthy son who is doing well for Dekina local citizens.
They prayed Allah’s continue n blessings and mercies on the Governor and his aide, YY Okala for more wisdom, knowledge, sound health and renewed strength in the herculean task of rebuilding the State .
The Chairman of All Progressives Congress for Dekina local government area,Isaiak Abu, hon.Akur Abdullahi Odu ward 1,Abu Alaji Odu ward 2,and Ali Ataboh APC forum chairman of the twelve wards and APC chairman for Iyale ward, Alhaji Shagari Ademu aka Ogiji that received their sallah package for onward delivery to party’s faithfuls commended Okala for his kind gesture.
They described the State Auditor General as a worthy son of Dekina local government and a sincere political figure who is always there meeting the yearnings and expectations of party’s faithfuls as well as citizens of the area.
