Senator Oseni greets Gov. Bello @45
The Senator representing Kogi Central and Chairman, Senate Committee on Information and Communication Technology/Cybercrime, Senator Yakubu Oseni has described Governor Yahaya Bello as an enigma whose rare leadership qualities distinguished him amongst his contemporaries.
Senator Oseni made this known in a succinct message to celebrate the Governor’s 45th birthday.
The lawmaker who briefly reminisced his maiden meeting with the Governor said he is endeared to the Governor’s ”insatiable quest in seeking a just and equal society through encompassing human capital development”
While appreciating the Governor’s unique leadership style in the multi-ethnic confluence state, Senator Oseni averred that ”the ease with which the Governor governs ‘our mini-Nigeria’ without sentiments has readily placed him in the league of national leaders of repute, adding that since he assumed office, there has been transparency in governance, ethnicism nullified, godfatherism shattered, press freedom guaranteed and insecurity decimated.
“There has been cordial, working and sustained relationship with other arms of government and the bars of infrastructural development raised unprecedentedly. These are hallmarks of democracy, worthy of emulation which you effortlessly exude!”, he said.
Senator Oseni however condoled with the Governor for the demise of his Personal Assistant, Suleiman Abdullateef who he said unfortunately went to the way of the flesh yesterday. He prayed that Almighty God forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
