
Political Leaders have been charged to be responsible in the discharge of their duties.
Venerable Edward Adegbola gave the charge during the thanksgiving service of the House of Assembly Member representing Ogori /Magongo Constituency,Honourable,Bode Ogunmola, at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter,Ogori,of the Diocese of Ogori-Magongo in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State.
He said political leaders must lead with the fear of God and the love for humanity at heart.
Venerable Adegbola, admonished the Celebrant to hold on to God and ensure he carries his Constituents along while in office.
In his Vote of thanks,Bode Ogunmola expressed his appreciation to the Constituency for their support and the trust they reposed on him promising not to disappoint them.
He assured them that he will liaise with the Executive Arm of the Government to bring home, dividend of Democracy.
Commenting ohn the democracy day celebration, the lawmaker said that Nigeria remains a work in progress and enjoined all Nigerians to continue to pray for leaders in the country so that God will reposition the country to the path of peace and progress.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria would be great again stressing that Citizens should play their roles in order to move the nation forward.
Dignitaries from within and outside the Constituency graced the occasion. They include; Royal Fathers, Politicians and Religious Leaders. Amongst whom are The Olojah of Ojah, HRH, Oba Daniel Suru Lawani, State,(Isiaseka11) the Okogbe of Ojahland, Edo State,HRH Otaro S.K Obajulu, Chief E.K Komolafe amongst others.
