*THE STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OF KOGI STATE (TSO) CHAPTER HOLDS EMERGENCY MEETING, WITHDRAWS THE VOTE-OF-NO-CONFIDENCE PASSED ON THE STATE COORDINATOR, HON. MUSA ASIRU BAKARE*
The Kogi State Chapter of Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) held an extraordinary State Executive Unity Meeting at Omega Riverbank Hotel in Lokoja the capital city of the State on 22/05/2022.
The meeting was conveyed by the State Coordinator Hon. Musa Asiru Bakare to look into the challenges facing the organization in the State in relation to the members, and chart way forward for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming APC Special National Convention to elect the party standard bearer ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
While urging the State executive members of the organization to recommit themselves to unity of purpose and togetherness as the foundation of TSO in the State, Hon. Bakare reiterated confidence that Kogi TSO through her thorough sensitization and mobilization of delegates support for Asiwaju Tinubu will bring about his eventual victory.
The executive members who were in attendance expressed confidence in the leadership of TSO even as they apologized for the misunderstanding itching the cohesion of the organization in the state recently.
All the members recommitted themselves to the aims and objectives of the organization noting that misunderstanding is inevitable in any political association.
The meeting ended with a unanimous decision by the members in attendance to withdrew the vote-of-no-confidence recently passed on the State Coordinator as a sign of reconciliation.
The State executives also used the medium to apologize to the National Secretariat of TSO for whatever inconveniences caused by the misunderstanding that surfaced in the state chapter.
“We want to sincerely apologize to our National Director-General, Hon. Aminu Suleiman whose tireless efforts had brought TSO and the aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the enviable height” Hon.Bakare reiterated on behalf of the entire members of Kogi TSO.
In attendance at the meeting are the three Senatorial district Coordinators, the State Secretary, Dr. Haruna Omeiza Gbenga, the State Woman Leader, Hajiya Rekiya Tijani and the other top executive members in the State.
