The National President of Magongo Development Association, PrinceJordan Akpata has praised National Association of Nigerian Nurses Based in North America NANNNNA her magnanimity demonstrated to his community through the donation of program medical items to support new mothers and pregnant woman with items needed after birth and prenatal multivitamins ,
The donation was carried out through one of the Association member, Mrs Helen Chizoba Imo Balogun.
Prince Jordan Akpata thanked the association for finding his community worthy of the support and promise to ensure that the items get to the intended beneficiaries equitably.
In recent years, the National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North America (NANNNA) has supported Nigerians in different ways, ranging from the face shield distribution globally, KN95 face mask to some states in Nigeria, food distribution, free healthcare projects, building and adopting primary health centers etc.
This mother and baby project is an initiative of one of their chapter, New Jersey Chapter.
The items are being donated and distributed to 12states in Nigeria, which are Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Kogi, Lagos, Ogun and Oyo state.
