Hon. Ibikunle Simon Idowu, the member representing Yagba West Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, has been appointed as the Chairman of the standing committee on culture and tourism in the 8th House of Assembly.
The appointment was made by the House Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar at today’s plenary session where he announced the composition of chairmanship positions of standing committees.
Speaker Umar emphasized that the selection process for committee chairmanship positions was guided by the capacity, experience, knowledge, and competence of individual lawmakers.
As the new chairman of the Culture and tourism Committee, Hon. Idowu Ibikunle brings with him a wealth of experience as a versatile entrepreneur and politician.
